This is an exclusive line made for Restoration Oak called Pressed Flowers.

Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by a group of four women in Colombia. The long process begins by plucking one flower petal at a time from flowers such as Hydrangeas and Roses. Next, they dry the petals in old telephone books (which also help to compress them) for several weeks. They then prep the wood and begin the long process of gluing each petal, one by one, one at a time, in a specific predetermined pattern. Once the pattern is complete, they seal the wood and then epoxy it. After a couple of days of drying and recoating, the process is finally complete. The result is an incredible piece that is one of a kind and completely unique.

These handmade works of art cannot be found anywhere else and we are thrilled to be able to showcase them.
