The Curly Maple Turquoise Twist Pen is plated with rhodium, an exquisite and valuable precious metal from the rhodium chemical group and complemented with black accents. Rhodium is known for its extreme durability that resists tarnish and scratches. The pen is a twist pen referred to as a “cigar pen” due to the size and thickness. The pen body is made of stabilized curly maple dyed with turquoise pigment made by a small business based out of New Jersey.
This pen requires little maintenance, when the refill runs out it can be replaced with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 of any ink density (Fine/Medium/Bold Thickness). When replacing the refill unscrew the tip while keeping track of the spring and remove the spent refill and then place the new refill in. Then replace the spring and screw the tip back on.
